Keen Farms is now hiring for one full time position and two part time positions. We are looking for non drinking, non smoking, horse lovers to join our team. Must be able to be licensed with The Texas Racing Commission and must have 2 years prior horse experience with references.
Full Time
We have one full time position currently available for a single adult or a married couple to live here on our farm and assist in all daily care of horses and routine farm maintenance. We will provide housing, electricity, and water and allow one day off per week. The person applying for the full time position must live on property and be able to be licensed with the Texas Racing Commission. No children, no dogs, cats okay.
Part Time
We currently have 2 part time positions available. Part time help is required to be licensed by the Texas Racing Commission and have reliable transportation. Hours will be 7 am to 12 pm 3 to 4 days a week, more hours possible. Heavy lifting and lawn maintenance may be required along with helping with the horses. Prior horse experience is required.

Dallas and Donna Keen offer mare care and foaling facilities at their farm in Burleson, Texas. Internet accessiblewebcams are provided for 24 hour a day security, monitoring, and viewing. You can log on anytime to check on your mares or watch your foals play in the paddocks. We can also provide a nurse mare in the unfortunate event one may be needed. We provide large safe paddocks for mares until they are ready to foal. Then the mare is moved to a large foaling stall with a live web camera. This way we can monitor the foaling process without having to disturb the mare during this vital time. The mares halter is equipped with a foal alert system that will call up to 4 telephone numbers when she lies down to give birth. With the cameras we are able to watch her every move incase any assistance is needed and provide whatever care is necessary.
